With his work, he aims to improve surgical procedures and provide more eff­ective recovery and pain relief options.
• A/Prof Darren Svirskis from the School of Pharmacy, The University of Auckland A/Prof Svirskis develops new technologies for drug delivery. By creating an innovative, implantable pain relief device, he will improve recovery for patients after major surgeries.
